wave wellness

WAVE Social Wellness set out to build more than a wellness destination. The vision was an integrated social wellness experience in the Hamptons, bringing together movement, recovery, treatments, community and connection under one brand.

ONDA joined WAVE before its opening, effectively becoming an embedded in-house marketing team. Our role extended beyond executing campaigns or managing individual channels. We helped architect the marketing infrastructure underneath the business: connecting brand, systems, content, communications, partnerships and customer touchpoints into an ecosystem
designed to support growth.

Our challenge was that launching and scaling a new wellness concept requires more than visibility. WAVE needed to establish a distinct brand, build a community, create consistent demand and put the operational marketing systems in place to support the customer journey as the business grew.

For a founder-led business, those needs can quickly become fragmented across platforms, vendors, content, events, technology and day-to-day decisions. ONDA’s role was to bring structure to that complexity, creating a clear, integrated marketing engine while remaining close enough to the business to evolve alongside it.

THE CHALLENGE

THE APPROACH

Rather than operate as an outside agency executing a list of deliverables, ONDA integrated into WAVE as an extension of its internal team.

We built and managed an organic marketing ecosystem spanning branding, social media, email marketing, website strategy, PR, partnerships, events and community-building. Importantly, the work was not limited to outward-facing marketing. ONDA also helped strengthen the infrastructure supporting it, including leading WAVE’s migration to Mindbody to better connect the operational and customer-facing sides of the business, as well as providing ongoing founder and business-level marketing counsel.

That combination reflects how ONDA works with growth-stage founders: we help make sense of the chaos of marketing, then architect the people, platforms, processes and storytelling into a system that can grow with the business.

The result is a connected system in which each channel supports the others rather than operating in isolation, and where marketing decisions remain tied to the needs of the business.

RESULTS TO DATE

WAVE demonstrates what can happen when marketing is treated as business infrastructure rather than a collection of tactics. The 22% year-over-year revenue growth (achieved without paid media) is an important result. Just as importantly, WAVE now has a more integrated marketing infrastructure designed to keep evolving as the business grows.
